Enjoying a beautiful afternoon in December with my hubby, Capt. Richard, on the Banana River Lagoon.
Richard is on the water every week with clients and I really don't have as many opportunities to fish when I want to. I wait for days like these when Richard will call me after a half day charter and say it's beautiful meet me at the docks and we'll get out for the afternoon. When I get that kind of call I immediately stop whatever I'm doing and gather myself togehter quickly so that I don't miss out on a good thing.
After Richard's successful morning of charter fishing, I took off with him and we caught a few black drum in the Banana River lagoon. These fish are kind of unique as they look a little pre-historic to me.
There's nothing like being out on a cool crisp, blue jay sky day enjoying quality time with my hubby and catching fish.
