My Cocoa Beach Family
Mekezie Anne Bradley
We'll start with the youngest member of our family Mekenzie. Richard and I are often accused of naming our child after the Apple Computer, but that's simply not true (that's spelled with a Mac). As I've mentioned before Mekenzie is our creative and crafty family member, I think she got that from Richard or maybe her grandmother Bradley that was one incredibly creative person.
However Mekenzie loves to sit on the computer and play Polly Pockets or Webkins for hours on end. She's quick to learn and can solve her own problems on the computer. She's an avid reader and loves inhales Nancy Drew Mysteries and other short stories as she starts her day by reading over a bowl of cereal in the morning.
Mekenzie quickly took over my sewing machine last summer at the early age of eight and has no intentions of giving it up. She received a serger for Christmas and is is making dresses, pillow cases with ambitions to make curtains and window treatments in her room next.
Attending Merritt Island Christian School and is in the third grade. She's an honor role student and studies hard to keep her grades up. We've always felt that both our girl's scholastic success is that they both love to read and learn. Mekenzie is a problem solver and is smarter than anyone in the family, including the two parents.
Outdoors activities include surfing, skateboarding, hula hoop, dancing and anything that's fun.
