Mekenzie with her her fellow students receiving the Science Fair awards

Roosevelt Elementary, Cocoa Beach
Mekenzie Bradley is one focused, talented and very creative girl. It doesn't surprise me that she would be receiving such awards for her hard work.
Unlike most children the age of ten and eleven, Mekenzie strives to do and complete all her school projects on her own and without the help of mom or dad. She works diligently by herself before she even lets on that there is a project in the makings (she really doesn't want us to interfere and do it for her). I would say for Mekenzie that is one of the ways she excels, figuring things out on her own by trial and error.
As some of us would call it the days of dreaded science projects and due dates, not for Mekenzie this is actually something she looks forward to and takes the challenge as she knows where the credit lies. We all have our different strengths and Mekenzie seems to make it so easy by just enjoying the work she does.
As parents, Richard and I couldn't be more proud of Mekenzie she was awarded fourth place in the physical science category. Good job at her first time doing a project for the science fair and completing it by herself.
Congratulations, Mekenzie, we love you and are very proud of you.
