If you have ever planned to visit Cocoa Beach I am sure you have heard of the "World Famous" Ron Jon Surf Shop. Well, you must stop in and check out the largest surf shop around with so much to choose from it will make your head spin.
Growing up here the shop was a little hole in the wall, as a young teenager it was built on to and now has grown to be an enormous shop. My cousins from Georgia would come every summer to visit us and just have to bring back all their friends Ron Jon t-shirts for it was the most popular surf shop throughout the country.
Today, the store is open twenty-four hours so that you can shop when you want to and never miss out. Besides all the shopping you can visit the Surfing Hall of Fame and become educated on the history of surfing here in Cocoa Beach and around the world. At times you will also have to opportunity to meet and get autographs from pro surfers, as Ron Jon's holds big events promoting the surf community. They will host movie nights, watching surf flicks outside under the stars and always seem to have something going on. |
