Zachary's Restaurant
Cape Canaveral, Florida
One of our dearest friends, Capt. Jack Rienhart turned us onto this restaurant years ago and we never visited until recently. Boy are we remorseful that we didn't take his advice earlier as this is a local haunt that's full of treats and prepared for customers with a hearty appetite.
Everything was perfect, the service was warm and helpful. We didn't have any drinks go empty and we even ran into our old friend Capt. Jack taking his lunch break on a Sunday afternoon. He advised, "Try the roast beef au jus with onions, cheese and mushrooms", and that's exactly what we did. Our daughter had the fish and chips and they were perfectly battered and the fish was very fresh and flakey.
I'm not sure if my diet allows me to go to this place very often as it's full of desserts, greek food favorites including Gyros and lamb (cooked various ways). But if Capt. Richard took me there often I'm sure there would be alot more of me to love as I'd simply eat myself into running an extra few miles a day.
Give Zachary's a try and tell me whatcha think!
