Oysters, Crabs, Clams, Shrimp, Wings and Burgers is what Oh Shucks is known for cooking up and serving each day starting at 11:00 am. The Cocoa Beach Pier has several places to grab food so it's your pick since no one thing really stands out. Unlike the other restaurants and bars that look directly over the ocean, Oh Shucks sits to the front of the pier with a covered pavilion open on all four sides, a very casual bikini bar and tables on the deck facing the water. The view is obstructed by the pier some and you're not right on the water but you can still see the ocean.
Although their food is just standard and mostly fried at that, they make some pretty good frozen fruit smoothies that the kids can enjoy and a select of their frozen specialty drinks. Each week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday they offer baskets of shrimp, wings or ribs for $5.00, along with that they also have some specials when you by a pitcher of beer. On weekends you can enjoy a live band, it's the only place on the pier that has a band and there's plenty of room to get up and dance. |
