Mai Tiki Bar at the end of the Cocoa Beach Pier
The Mai Tiki Bar
Cocoa Beach Pier, Florida
As far as you can walk out on the Cocoa Beach Pier you end up at the Mai Tiki Bar sitting 800 feet above the Atlantic Ocean. The Tiki Bar is kinda unique looking as it has these totem poles at each corner, one-dollar bills dated and stuck on the walls with rusty nails and a cool bamboo thatched roof. It's amazing how this little hut has survived through storms considering that when big rollers come in the pier rocks and shakes so you better hang on to your drink.
Like any other bar in town you can order up whatever kind of drink you like but here at this bar you'll enjoy not just your favorite drink, but most of all the spectacular view. There's much to look at besides just people, you'll like seeing dolphin and pelicans, surfers, shrimp boats and of course the Sun Cruz Casino and Liquid Vegas as they sit offshore doing their thing.
The times I have been at the Mai Tiki Bar it's always interesting to talk with the many different people that come to Cocoa Beach, if you just ask someone at the bar where they are from you'll probably find many are from out of town, you may occasionally run into a local but for the most part everyone's visiting.
Mai Tiki Bar at the very end of the Pier
To walk out to the end of the pier you will have to pay $1.00 or if you have a receipt from any of the pier restaurants or stores just show that and you can enter onto the pier at no charge.
