Cocoa Beach and Central Florida Friends and Family
Raising my two beautiful children, Savannah and Mekenzie with my husband Captain Richard in Cocoa Beach is the most important part of my life. Growing up on Merritt Island with four sisters and two brothers (seven kids in our family) I definitely like being around people.
Every day in life we are with those we love or we have the opportunity to meet someone we have never met before in our life. As for me, with my daily work as a fishing guide's wife and help mate I'm constantly talking with and meeting people all around Central Florida, the country and even different parts of the world. It's interesting as you talk with others to learn new things, ideas, or the ways of how others live their life and what their interest are. If we are unable to physically be with or see those close to us, these days many of us rely on the internet which is a huge source of keeping in touch with our family and friends. How communication has changed over the last century is remarkable, instead of waiting months, weeks or days to receive just a written letter now we can be in touch with friends within seconds talking on the telephone and chatting online, (although I think Star Trek had the right idea, just beam you where ever you want to be).
Staying connected and in touch with others is what makes the world go around. Hope you enjoy a few pictures of our family, friends, and people we have met along the way in our life living at Cocoa Beach and hanging around the Orlando and Central Florida area to many around the globe. For those we only met for a short time maybe our paths will cross again one day and we will have the opportunity to spend time together doing the activities we love. |
