My Trucker friends visit Cocoa Beach
One afternoon I received a call from these two guys wanting a fishing trip for the next day. Typically I usually don't have anything that soon, however, this particular day was available. These guys were on the road making plans and they were determined to do some fishing in Cocoa Beach. When I told them the day was open they were so excited and asked me "so where can we park our Semi Truck over night?" Once we figured that out we all three had a blast talking over the cell phone and CB together.
After they fished in Cocoa Beach I met up with Capt. Richard, Michael and his truck mate. I had fun climbing into their truck cab (well, the guys had to lift me up into it), honking the horn, sitting at the drivers seat and playing around with all their gadgets and CB radio. Wow, those cabs are a lot bigger than I would have ever imagined, these were no ordinary Peterbilt or Mack trucks, these were luxury vehicles. They had pictures of their family hung all over, computers, a refrigerator and plenty of room for a comfy place to rest their head.
