Eric Mayes Aboard His Fish Tales

Whether he's hanging out at dogs (a local watering hole) or pulling his boat up to the docks at Sunrise Marina, Eric is one fun man with loads of energy. Eric and his beautiful wife Lisa host several get-togethers a year that often include Jello Shots and food coloring in the pool. They have two children and live in a canal-front home on Merritt Island, where Eric's boat "Fish Tales" is docked and hanging in the back.
Captain Richard and I have been to a few of The Maye's parties including a wild Halloween party where friends wore everything from pirate to cruise ship captain costumes. Eric colored his pool blood red which kept everyone from swimming in fear that they might be semi-permanent tinted for a several weeks. Lisa made yummy jello shots that were deadly and Eric dressed as Playboy's Hugh Hefner. Halloween was a blast and we look forward to each years party to out do the last.
Merritt Island and Cocoa Beach have an annual Christmas Boat Parade that is fun to watch from Eric & Lisa's waterfront home on Sykes Creek. Everyone shows up to eat and drink while Tommy Adams and Dr. Larry O steam oysters on the grill or BBQ up some great vittles for us all to enjoy while watching boaters celebrate Christmas on their ornamented boats.
