Wendy Armbruster on Cocoa Beach
Often times I still think of Wendy as the cute little Publix girl who was always so friendly to everyone as they passed through the checkout line. Wendy's father-in-law, Robert Armbruster, was the Publix Store Manager on Merritt Island and Cocoa for many, many years until he retired. Although Wendy had her days of working at Publix, her work these days consist of taking care of her family as a wife and mother of three.
I have know Wendy's husband, Rob, since we were young teenagers growing up in church together. We still all attend First Baptist Church on Merritt Island where our girls have gotten to know each other and have been together since their newborn days in the church nursery. Wendy and I have worked in the nursery together over the years and Wendy is a member of the choir and sings with a group of girls. She has a beautiful voice and a loves to sing.
Wendy is a great wife who is always there for her husband and an awesome mom, she loves spending time with her girls and is always looking for something fun for them to do especially in the summertime. She is very creative and enjoys working on her home and yard making an adorable place to live. When she does have the opportunity to get out with her girlfriends she likes going to the County Line in Melbourne, she said if you get there early enough they will teach you how to line-dance. I have never been to the County Line but look forward to going and learning how to line-dance with her soon and making it a fun girls night out.
