Mommy and Mekenzie days are times we really look forward to when it's just us together. Mekenzie's ringlet curls and dimple smile define much of her "love life" personality. Everything she does is with pazzaz and style. There's never a dull moment with Mekenzie.
One of Mekenzie's favorite things to do is get both of us dressed up, makeup, high heals and all, then go out to the Mall whether it is to shop or just look around and try on dresses. Our family has never been much of a Mall goer and into shopping but once Mekenzie came along she definitely put a new flair to that part of our lives. Mekenzie loves to go browsing in the stores, her favorite Mall is the Florida Mall in Orlando and closer to home it is the Merritt Square Mall in Merritt Island. Mekenzie loves to sew and design clothing so looking at garments in the stores is part of where she likes to get ideas.
On one of our latest trips to the Merritt Square Mall we ended up in Macy's formal gown department. Mekenzie picked out every formal dress in my size to be tried on. She and I spent over an hour in the dressing room, me trying the dress on first so she could get a picture and then her slipping into the same dress so I could get a picture of her too. Taking pictures and making videos we were like two little girls playing dress-up, laughing and being silly together having fun.
