Beach Life Body and Soul
Over the years I have tried to find balance as all of us do in the daily routine of life. While being a wife, raising two daughters and helping run our fishing charter business, things can tend to get a little out of hand every now and then.
"Life is good" this is one of my favorite clothing logos out there because I do think life is good, however, there are times we all go thru stressful situations and find that nothing is in our control and for me all I can do is trust the Lord that I will make it through. Here are a few things I try to do to keep things in perspective.
Yoga is something I do each morning, it is not only a great strengthening and trimming routine, it helps wake me up and get may day started.
Going to church once or twice a week is a good way for me to stay connected with friends while learning about life lessons from the Bible.
Watching television can be such a time waster and a couch potato in the making. Richard & I haven't had a TV since the day we were married (eighteen years ago), I have never seen an episode of Survivor, American Idol, or ER, but we do enjoy renting movies now and then & watching them from the computer. Try using your time visiting with a friend, seeing a movie together, reading a book or work on those projects you need to do that never get started.
I enjoy a craft or hobby like gardening, photography, scrape booking, sewing, cooking or just working in the yard.
Keeping myself active by playing a sport like tennis, surfing, running,or racquetball definitely helps me with my attitude and outlook.
