Wake Surfing

Wake Surfing is another way to stay cool while having fun playing in the water. On nice calm summer days that the ocean doesn’t provide many or if any waves, we still try and find someway to get wet.
Meeting up with hubby we girls get everything ready and waiting at the dock in our bikinis as soon as he pulls in from the morning of fishing in the lagoon. These types of days that are calm and glassy are perfect for each of us. With Captain Richard being able to sight fish for Reds and Trout in the morning and then us girls slipping on board to enjoy surfing for the day. The boat makes the waves for us as we surf the wakes trying new tricks each time. This can be a little challenging at first, staying on the board with the tail in the water and being pulled up. Similar to ski’s, however, a lot more effort and balance needed without your feet being attached. Once you get it, you’ve got it and it doesn’t take long to be hooked and stoked.
