You might want to listen to what a tourist visiting Cocoa Beach had to say about The Boardwalk on Cocoa Beach Pier. "What could be better than sitting on a pier right over the shoreline, enjoying a cold Corona and listening to a cover band play classic rock? If this place was back at home, I would be a regular. The Boardwalk Bar really hit the spot after a long day, and this seemed to be the place to just chill and watch the sunset."
I would have to say sitting over the ocean relaxing with nice company and your favorite drink doesn't get any better. Of course this bar is outdoors where you can just about enjoy any day in Florida. It doesn't matter if you have sand on your toes or want to sit around in your bikini you are welcome to do so at the Boardwalk Bar. You can sit right at the bar or grab a table close by. They offer a full liquor bar and you can also order food.
For us locals it's a place we hang out while watching our teenagers surf. Keeps us out of the sun and cooled down, especially since we are on the beach most every day. The bar itself is definitely not anything special, it has old plastic bar stools, an old weathered wood bar top with these rat traps nailed down (only to hold menu's, not that there are any pier rats around!) You know everything is kinda just got that beachy aire to it. Of course, it's all a tourist trap at the Pier because there's always lots of people around and everyone needs to eat and drink somewhere.
