Roberto's is a Great Authentic Cuban Restaurant in Cocoa Beach, Florida
I wouldn't say Ricky Ricardo's, Tropicana, is right next store but when you visit Roberto's you have the feel of being in Cuba with their hospitality, atmosphere and not to mention their incredible food. Whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner, we love to visit Roberto's and enjoy the crump food they prepare.
Location:
Right smack in the middle of downtown Cocoa Beach. Parking is in the rear or out front on the street (A1A). There's little to see while you're dining as it's all indoor eating but the food is so authentic and yummy.
Atmosphere:
I'd describe the atmosphere in Roberto's as a Cuban diner. There's a bar for single dining and booths or tables for small and larger groups. The service can vary from adequate to exceptional, but the food makes up for any deficiencies in the service.
Breakfast
For Breakfast it's Jay's special (two poached eggs on english muffin with ham) grits or home fries on the side or the traditional black beans.
Lunch
Lunch time calls for their famous cuban sandwich with chips and cuban coffee (whoa that will wake you up for the afternoon)!
Dinner
Black beans and rice, Fried Plantains, roasted pork or shredded beef with garlic and lemon, and a little Sangria, that's the meal to finish your day.
In the day and age of everyone eating out almost five to seven nights a week, it seems for most people that anything goes. However, Richard & I along with our girls take eating out as a treat and prefer a restaurant like Roberto's with quality food and authentic cuban dishes that would not normally be prepared at home.
