Here I am working on my tan lines for my new bikini on
New Smyrna Beach near Ponce Inlet, Florida. Below is Savannah
tearing up the waves near the mouth of New Smyrna Inlet.
New Smyrna Inlet and Beach
Surfing, Walking and Sunbathing
New Smyrna Inlet is one of my favorite beaches on the East Coast of Central Florida. When my new bikini arrived in the mail, I couldn't wait to strap it on and head to the sand.
The perfect place to get rid of those pesky bathing suit lines is New Smyrna with it's sea oats and white sand. You can even drive your vehicle along the seashore and on the beach so you can bring everything from an umbrella to a cooler full of food and drinks.
This morning I loaded up the truck with surfboards and kids and had a blast sunbathing while Savannah surfed and my eight year old frolicked in the waves.
My truck got stuck in the soft sand but had no problems as several bronzed surfer guys lent me a hand. It's a great day at the beach and the entry fee for your car is $5.00 and can be closed when the tides are too high.
New Smyna's Ponce Inlet side on the North boast a beautiful lighthouse and a georgeous view. You must go to Daytona Beach to get to the north side of the inlet because there's no bridge for crossing.
